The Grown-Up Pillow Fight
Sometimes I get a ridiculous idea and have the good fortune to find 25 crazies and a very understanding bar owner who all think it sounds reasonable. I believe many of them, like me, are still finding feathers in questionable places.
But while you enjoy the silliness, look at the faces. There is serious beauty in silliness, in a few dozen people, most of whom were strangers to each other before this shoot, letting go of the stress of reality and creating a bond with each other. It's a reminder that regardless of age, gender, background, life experience, circumstances, and differing perspectives, we can all let go and simply be humans together. Silly, feather-coated humans.
